The Importance of a Positive Image
By definition an Image Consultant is a professional who advises individuals and businesses on their image. According to a recent Gallup Poll, seven out of ten Americans say physical appearance is important "in terms of happiness, social life and the ability to get ahead." Style is the expression of someone's personality through their appearance.
Why Image Matters:
People often make assumptions based on limited information. For example, someone may be perceived as confident because they have a firm handshake. They may be seen as trustworthy because they make eye contact. They may be judged as capable, professional, successful and even wealthy or intelligent because they are well dressed. The reverse in also true.
